Official name: The name of the corporation is P.A.P.A.S., Inc. (Parent Advocates for the Performing Arts in our Schools), formed under Chapter 181 of the Wisconsin Statutes, without stock and not for profit. P.A.P.A.S., Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Contributions made to P.A.P.A.S., Inc. are tax-deductible.

Purposes: Purposes shall be exclusively charitable and educational as defined by Section 501 (c) (3) of tl-ie Internal Revenue Code. They shall include the acquisition of funds through fundraising, grants and gifts to promote, generate and maintain educational opportunities in the performing arts and related facilities for Beloit Memorial High School and the School District of Beloit.

Objectives as stated in our By-Laws:
1 . To generate and maintain enthusiasm in performing arts of all kinds, focused on Theatre and Music at the facilities of Beloit Memorial High School (BMHS).
2. To lend both moral support and financial support to the performing arts of the School District of Beloit and likewise promote the School District through excellence in the Performing Arts.
3. To build and maintain an organization of parents and volunteers which shall promote the general activities inherent to the Performing Arts.

Membership: The membership of P.A.P.A.S., Inc. shall include any parent or volunteer interested in the progress and development of the performing arts in the School District of Beloit.
